About the Product

7 Qs
What makes Bumbl Co different from other kids' toothpaste?

Most children's toothpaste is mint-flavoured. For kids who can't stand strong flavours — whether that's sensory sensitivity or simply because mint is too much — brushing becomes a daily battle. Bumbl Co is 100% mint-free and menthol-free, with three flavours kids genuinely enjoy. It was developed by a registered Oral Health Therapist who saw this problem in clinic every day, and tested by the kids who needed it most.

Is Bumbl Co safe for my child?

Yes. Bumbl Co contains 500 ppm sodium fluoride — the clinically recommended level for children's toothpaste — and is free from SLS, PEGs, parabens, artificial colours, sugar, and dairy. Suitable from age 2 with adult supervision. Children under 6 should use a pea-size amount with adult supervision.

What age is Bumbl Co suitable for?

Bumbl Co is suitable for children aged 2 and above. Children under 6 require adult supervision during brushing.

Does Bumbl Co contain fluoride?

Yes. All Bumbl Co toothpastes contain 500 ppm sodium fluoride, providing effective cavity protection at the level recommended for children's toothpaste.

What does "sensory-friendly" mean?

Sensory-friendly means the product has been formulated to minimise the sensory triggers that cause many children to refuse standard toothpaste — primarily the intense burning sensation of mint and menthol. Bumbl Co is completely mint-free and menthol-free, with gentle fruit flavours that are well-tolerated by sensory-sensitive children.

What flavours are available?

Three flavours: Bumbl Gum (bubble gum), Monster Melon (watermelon), and Strawberry Yoghurt (strawberry). All three are available individually at $6.99 each, or as the Tasty Trio pack (3 × 50g) — trio pricing coming soon.

Can adults use Bumbl Co?

Absolutely. If you don't like mint either, you're welcome here.

About the WINK Method

4 Qs
What is the WINK Method?

WINK stands for Where White meets Pink. It's a brushing technique developed by Joe, our founder and registered Oral Health Therapist, that teaches children to brush at the gumline — where the white tooth meets the pink gum — which is where most dental decay begins. It's printed on every Bumbl Co tube.

How do I teach my child the WINK Method?

Two steps: brush all surfaces of the tooth, then find the WINK — where the white meets the pink — and brush there too. Simple enough for kids to remember and do independently.

Is the WINK Method clinically backed?

Yes. It was developed by a registered Oral Health Therapist based on clinical observation across hundreds of paediatric dental appointments, and is consistent with guidance on effective plaque removal at the gingival margin.

How long should my child brush for?

Focus on technique, not time. The WINK Method teaches kids to brush at the gumline — where most plaque builds up — rather than watching a clock. A thorough, well-aimed brush beats two minutes of aimless scrubbing every time. Done properly, the WINK Method takes about thirty seconds.
